The MAPS^SM Open Proxy Stopper (OPS^SM) is a list of IPs that have been used, as an open proxy, to transmit spam. MAPS^SM  maintains copies of the spam that was sent via each open proxy as well as the results of the testing performed after a spam sample is received.

If you run your own mail server, you can configure it to utilize our list, if you'd like to refuse mail from these types of IPs. Please note that if you do this, you may also refuse some legitimate (non-spam) mail, and you should be familiar with whitelisting capabilities of your server.
